What this is
miniHabits is an iPhone habit tracker published by Florent Berrez. Using the app means accepting the terms on this page. They are written to be read, not to be survived.
The licence the app is sold under on the App Store is Apple’s standard End User Licence Agreement, at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. This page is the plain-language version of what that means for miniHabits specifically, and where the two ever disagree, Apple’s document is the one that governs the sale.
Paid access
The App Store download is free, but access to the main app requires account creation and either an active annual purchase or a lifetime purchase. There is no free tier, trial, monthly plan or onboarding skip that grants app access.
The hard paywall shows two options: Annual and Lifetime. The names, duration and localized prices shown there come from the App Store before you buy.
Pro Yearly is an auto-renewing subscription. It renews for another year, at the price then shown in the App Store, unless you turn renewal off at least 24 hours before the current year ends. Renewal is managed in your Apple Account settings, not in the app, and cancelling there stops the next charge while leaving the year you paid for running to its end.
Pro Lifetime is a non-consumable purchase. It is bought once and never renews.
Apple processes the transaction. RevenueCat maps the Apple product to the miniHabits pro entitlement for the immutable UUID belonging to the signed-in miniHabits iCloud account. The Restore button asks Apple and RevenueCat to recover an eligible annual or lifetime purchase for that original account. A purchase is not transferred automatically to a different miniHabits UUID.
Payment and refunds
Payment is taken by Apple, not by us. We never see your card, your billing address or your Apple Account details.
Refunds are handled by Apple under their terms, through reportaproblem.apple.com. If Apple declines a refund you think is fair, write to me and I will take it up with them.
Your data
A miniHabits account is required so your habit log can be backed up and synchronized through your private iCloud database. The app remains usable offline and merges later changes when connectivity returns.
Signing out removes local account data. Account deletion removes the app’s private CloudKit data and local copies, but does not cancel an App Store subscription or delete the RevenueCat customer record. Contact us if you also want that provider record erased.
Deleting an account removes the private record that holds its original miniHabits UUID. A new account does not automatically inherit purchases associated with the deleted UUID. Manage any active subscription with Apple before deletion and contact us if you need account recovery help.

What we do not promise
The app is provided as it is. It is a habit tracker, not a medical, therapeutic or diagnostic tool, and nothing in it is health advice.
We do our best to keep it correct — the streak engine has a test suite precisely because a wrong streak is the one bug that would matter — but we cannot promise it will never have a defect or never be unavailable.
To the extent the law allows, liability is limited to what you have paid for the app.
Fair use
Do not decompile, resell, or redistribute the app, and do not try to bypass the paywall. Beyond that, use it however is useful to you.
Changes and contact
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them, and a material change will be mentioned in the release notes.
